IMMIGRATION
Alfred the Great College: Sponsor Licence nº 3B59NTYB4

Welcome to the webpages for international applicants, and students, about immigration in the UK.

* All non-European Union nationals holding offers to study in the UK are strongly advised to apply for a Student Visa for the duration of their course. The time this may take can vary so we suggest you make applying for one a priority. You should also be aware that this year the Government is introducing a new points based system for visa applications, which may increase the time it takes to receive your visa. For more information about this visit http://www.bia.homeoffice.gov.uk. British Council offices worldwide and British High Commissions and Embassies, as well as their local agents, can assist you in preparing your student visa application. Find your nearest British High Commission

These pages will be updated regularly – please check back often for updates and changes to immigration policy and rules.

The Student Services Team, part of Alfred the Great College based at the Glasshouse yard Campus, provides support to all international applicants and students at Alfred The Great College. You can find out more about immigration information and advice by clicking on the headings on the left hand side or below. We have open slots for consultations 5 days a week during term time, please see that table below. If you need to see us outside of these hours or need any other information then please email us.
